I have a 5 bed self-catering holiday let house and a booking for parents with 2 grown-up daughters and their partners. Is this - being 3 separate households - allowed?

According to the advice published today by the Welsh government on opening up self catered accomodation to tourism it states: "Accommodation can only be let to members of the same household".

I have been informed this morning that this booking is not allowed. Rules from 13 July would stipulate 2 households 'in bubble'. Have had to cancel and bang goes £1180!

Yes, I had four cancellations when I emailed round my bookings to check. Then, an update was issued on the 2nd July and the "single household" mandate appears to have been removed! I'd say you couldn't make it up, but I think that's exactly what they are doing. 2/7/2020 09:36:26 am
Does one household now constitute the members of the exclusive bubble? Where can I find clarification of this point ?

Hi Mike - I was referring to info published on the https://gov.wales website https://gov.wales/tourism-and-hospitality-businesses-guidance-phased-reopening-html on 30 June. However, I see it was updated on 2 July to remove reference to a single household. Today the Welsh government has announced that two households and meet (and stay) indoors - so does that mean holiday cottage lets now follow that rule? Its all really confusing as the goal post keep moving.

From today 25th July, accommodation with shared facilities can open. Does anyone know of any guidelines with regards to max number of households in at anyone time? Is sharing a room with someone outside your household (but 2 meters between the beds?) allowed? We are desperate for more details.
