THE PACKAGE TRAVEL AND LINKED TRAVEL ARRANGEMENTS REGULATIONS 2018 - Guidance for Businesses17/7/2018 Please find attached a copy of the full Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) guidance and the actual legislation on the new Package Travel and Linked Arrangements Regulations 2018. It is important that all businesses take note of the new regulations because they will impact on a large numbers of businesses that previously may have thought that their activities had nothing to do with package travel. It would appear that operators that simply recommend other businesses to customers could be impacted and may need to obtain insolvency protection. It is also important to note that it is a criminal offense not to comply with some of the requirements of the new regulations.

I've seen some discussion on forums about B&Bs like us recommending places to eat or things to do being considered "organisers" and therefore needing some insolvency insurance. Can you please advise? It does seem a bit weird when we're not passing on any details of the "consumer" or "traveller" to those third parties.
