The Next Tourism Generation (NTG) Alliance has developed a free to use Toolkit to address sustainability and digital skills gaps. It will help recovery from the pandemic as digital upskilling and consumer demand for sustainable holidays have become increasingly important. The Toolkit will be useful to education and training providers, employers, government departments, non-governmental organisations, and individuals. It will enable stakeholders to review contemporary green, social and digital skills requirements in tourism and hospitality and enable them to develop and/or update provision, resources, and career guidance.  The Toolkit is comprehensive and contains: 

• lesson plans, presentations and training resources, assessments and marking schemes 
• blended learning approaches 
• skills checkers 
• operational profiles 
• mapping documents. 

It covers five sub-sectors: accommodation, food & beverage, travel agencies and tour operators, destination management and visitor attractions; and encompasses operational, supervisory and management, as well as executive levels. NTG is asking key stakeholders and potential end users, to complete a survey on the Toolkit and provide constructive feedback to help us help you address skills gaps in the industry. Feedback is crucial to improve the Toolkit and extend its use.
