I love the idea of Gourmet Societies in the Basque Country and San Sebastian in particular.San Sebastian is the foodie capital of the world in no part down to the innovative and deep feeling for food of the native population.Ordinary working people have their own food clubs were they (competitively) cook for each other - almost eisteddfodic in concept. Nothing would improve my life more than Cymdeithas Garstronomeg Menai - people with a like mind, taste buds and tummy to explore the potential of our local food.Put Wales firmly on the map of innovative gstronomy.
