Report by the Economy, Infrastructure & Skills Committee – The Impact of COVID-19: Summary of initial findings - WTA Input
You can download the report from the link below. The Economy Infrastructure and Skills Committee has refocused its work to examine the impact of COVID-19. On 30 April the committee took evidence from representatives of businesses and trade unions on business and job support and worker safety including Adrian Greason-Walker, WTA Policy Advocate.
On 11 May the Committee held a scrutiny session with the Minister for Economy, Transport and North Wales. These meetings were held via video link. The Committee will take more evidence from those affected in the forthcoming weeks and months. This report is designed as a summary of the Committee’s very early findings. It gives the Committee’s first view on support offered by the Welsh Government, highlights areas which need more thinking or work, and gives an initial view on what the next priorities should be.
