PASC UK Survey to gather data for response to Welsh Government Consultation in support of the WTA (Closes 04/11/21)
PASC UK does not believe that it’s possible to lobby the Welsh Government on a no change basis. We also do not believe that the currently legal loophole, to flip from Council Tax to Business Rates with a low threshold of days let (just 70 days in Wales or 19% of all available days) will continue in Wales, or England or Scotland for that matter. No other single issue in the second homes issue across the whole country inflames public opinion more than owners flipping out of paying anything. One of the main questions that we are asking is what number of days to be recognised as a business would you accept?
We represent Professional Self-catering, for those that self-catering is a primary business, not a property speculation, and getting this definition right is at the heart of the challenge we face. If you have any questions arising from this survey, please contact email@example.com
PASC UK have recently published the most comprehensive report into Welsh self-catering ever published and are using it to assist in the lobbying of the Welsh Government. You can access these reports free of charge here: https://bit.ly/3yiW2GX
Printed copies of these are now available for the UK, English and Welsh reports. If you wish to purchase one, please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with your name, business name and address and we will send one out with an invoice for £10. No VAT p&p included.
