Star unveils plans for new hotel
Thursday, 16 February 2012
FORMER Wales footballer Robbie Savage has unveiled plans for a luxury hotel development which could create up to 35 new jobs.
The radio pundit and 39-cap ex-international also envisages the potential to develop a football academy in Carmarthenshire.
The star’s proposal comes after the 37-year-old bought 20 acres of land near Ffos Las racecourse, near Trimsaran, 18 months ago.
He has now formalised his ambitions by submitting plans with the local authority for a 35-bed hotel and a 60 to 70-seater restaurant and bar.
