'Working Together' - WTA Annual Conference - 5th November 2012
From 05 November 2012 to 05 November 2012
We shall be hosting our annual gathering at the Metropole Hotel, Llandrindod Wells on 5 November with the aim to bring together both tourism businesses and those who play a leading role in taking our £6.2bn industry forward. Key discussions will centre on the tourism industry’s future in both the medium and long term.
The economic climate has radically changed the business environment, possibly permanently altered; conditions are undoubtedly tougher now than they have ever been. We need to ensure that we have the optimum commercial and regulatory environment in place that will enable the industry not only to survive, but to thrive. This conference, open to fellow tourism representatives and operators, provides an opportunity to listen to what the key players in our industry have to say about the future and then discuss issues that most concern us all especially the forward planning of one of Wales’ most important industries.
Aside from the inevitable discussion centred around the current economic climate, we do want to ensure that we end with some serious and if possible, innovative suggestions about how both the industry and the Welsh Government can move forward together to ensure the right conditions are in place to make this happen. We hope you can join us for this most important debate.
